At Kantoko, we offer a more affordable and accessible telehealth ADHD assessment and ongoing support. Our doctors review your information ahead of time so your appointment can focus on what matters: listening, assessing and supporting you.

Our focus is on your long-term health and wellbeing so our platform is designed to support you well beyond your initial assessment.

After your first month ($200), you'll move to a $100/month Kantoko platform fee, which includes:

• Up to six standard appointments each year with your ADHD Doctor and care team
• Easy requests for prescriptions and travel letters through the Kantoko platform
• Personalised health dashboard to track your symptoms, treatment progress, and communicate with your team
• Education and resources to help you manage your ADHD and improve your wellbeing

It's common for assessments to take 2-4 sessions to complete.

Our process includes a comprehensive pre-assessment review of your information so it's important to provide detailed answers where possible. This helps your doctor understand your situation prior to the telehealth appointment.

Your first telehealth appointment takes 45 minutes. Follow-ups are dependent on your needs and can be scheduled as required.

Step 1 – Sign Up & Complete Your Assessments

Start by filling in your profile information (Medicare, regular GP and address) and completing our ADHD assessments at your own pace. This helps your ADHD Doctor get a clear, complete picture before your first appointment.

Step 2 – See Your GP for a Referral and Routine Tests

Before booking, you'll need to visit your GP to get:

• A referral letter
• A few routine health checks, including an ECG and standard blood tests

We'll guide you through exactly what to ask for—most GPs can handle everything in one visit.

Step 3 – Book Your Appointment

Once your referral and test results are uploaded, you'll be able to schedule your initial consultation—typically available within a few weeks.

Your ADHD Doctor will review your history, assess your symptoms, and, if ADHD is diagnosed, work with you to develop a treatment approach that fits your needs.

Step 4 – Stay Supported with Ongoing Care

Your journey doesn’t end at diagnosis. With Kantoko, you’ll have ongoing access to your care team and the platform—for follow-ups, easy prescription or travel letter requests, and seamless communication designed to support you long-term.

If you're not diagnosed with ADHD, your Kantoko monthly platform fee will be cancelled and no further payments will be required.

Your $100/month Kantoko platform fee gives you everything you need for ongoing ADHD support:

• Up to six standard appointments each year with your ADHD Doctor and care team.
• Ongoing access to your care team for questions, updates, and support.
• Prescription renewals and travel letter requests through the Kantoko platform
• A personalised health dashboard to track your symptoms, treatment progress, and communicate with your team

We require a valid Medicare card to access the platform, but Medicare does not currently cover Kantoko's platform fees.

Your first monthly fee is $200, then $100 per month ongoing. These fees cover your continued access to Kantoko’s platform and are not tied to individual appointments.

Our focus is ADHD, but we understand that many people experience co-occurring conditions like anxiety or depression. Your ADHD Doctor will take a holistic approach and can support these needs as part of your care plan.

Kantoko is designed for individuals seeking assessment and long-term support for ADHD. However, we may not be the right fit for everyone.

You may not be suitable for Kantoko if you:

• Require a high level of psychiatric care or crisis intervention
• Have severe or unmanaged co-occurring conditions such as psychosis, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder
• Are currently experiencing suicidal thoughts or acute mental health episodes
• Need in-person psychiatric care or hospital-based support

If any of the above apply, we recommend seeking support from your GP or local mental health service, who can connect you with the right level of care.

We currently support adult ADHD diagnosis and care in the following states:

• Available: NSW, QLD, VIC, TAS, ACT
• Limited access: SA (clinician availability may vary)
• Paused: WA (we are not currently accepting new patients)

We’ll update our website when new patient intake resumes in WA or availability changes elsewhere.

Yes. Kantoko is a fully online platform, so you can access ADHD assessment and care from anywhere in your state, including rural and remote areas—as long as we support your region.

All appointments, follow-ups, and prescriptions are handled digitally, so you get high-quality care, no matter where you live.

Many ADHD assessments and ongoing care are safely and effectively managed by our ADHD Doctors. Your ADHD Doctor will lead your care—whether that involves assessment, medication management, or ongoing mental health support.
