FAQs

Learn more about our service.

What is the cost?

Traditional, in person psychiatry appointments on average are $400+/hr. At Kantoko, an initial diagnosis appointment could be less than half the price.

Since our providers review your information and study your medical history ahead of time, it can take less time than traditional diagnosis. The initial appointment is meant for listening to you, crafting a treatment plan together, and reviewing your goals. We don't waste your time.

After the initial month, our membership is just $100/mo. The membership includes follow-up appointments, ongoing access to our care team and convenient online management.

Medication costs are not included in these prices. Costs for medication vary. Most people pay $30-60/mo, but costs can be $130+ for specific medications/doses.

Do you accept Medicare?

We require Medicare, however this does not cover access to the platform.

What is the Kantoko Membership?

The current rate for membership is $100/mo, which includes:

Prescription Renewals and Reminders

Health Dashboard
Monitor your health with our dashboard. You can track your symptoms and ADHD evaluation. You can also message your doctor and chat with us.

How is this different to a psychiatrist?

With Kantoko you'll still be visiting a psychiatrist on our platform. However we're so much more.

Tech-first - we're built to make your life easier. No paper forms, confusing messaging, complicated processes, and impossible to use websites.

Team-care - you'll have your own care team of ADHD experts to help you thrive. Need a letter for travel? Have a question outside your appointment? We have you covered.

Long Term Investment - ADHD isn't something that goes away overnight. We're committed to continually improving the platform for your long term benefit.

Our specially designed platform helps psychiatrists and our care team offer a better standard of care at lower costs.

How does it work?

Step 1.
Fill out and complete your medical history assessments. Please answer truthfully as your doctor needs to understand your background.

Step 2.
After signing up, you may contact our team to discuss appointment availability - usually within a month.

Step 3.
After your diagnosis, which may take several appointments, you will discuss treatment options. If prescribed, you will receive a digital prescription to use at your local pharmacy.

Step 4.
Once you have a treatment plan, you'll still have access access to your clinicians and care team for ongoing chronic care. You will be required to have ongoing appointments with your clinician in order to continue treatment.

If you are not diagnosed, your membership will be cancelled and no further payments will be required as you are not eligible to continue.
